A domain name is your web address, eg something.co.uk or a something.com. These are not free services, they are paid for through a domain registrar like GoDaddy or IONOS. Sometimes, web designers (like us) partner with one of these registrars in order to be authorised to look after client's domains on their behalf. Explain - What is an ‘alias’?
Aliases are free with our mailboxes. Explain the terms: An alias is an email address, for example info@yourdomain.co.uk, but which doesn't have its own mailbox. You can receive mail to an alias, but not send from it. You would use aliases if you wanted to provide customers separate email addresses for different reasons, but you didn't want to pay for or manage them all.
